Nursing and midwifery License renewal made easy with ZamChat app. Nurses in Zambia and abroad can now register or renew practicing licenses using our beautiful app.

Here's how you can renew your GNC license online using ZamChat app

  1. Access the NMCZ Online Services Portal on Zamchat app under Online tab

    • Download ZamChat here

  2. Register or Log In:

    • If you're a first-time user, click on "Sign Up for Online Services" and select your category (e.g., Practitioner).​

    • Enter your Registration Number, National Registration Card (NRC) number, and a valid email address.​

    • Submit the form to receive your login credentials via email.​

    • If you're already registered, log in using your email and password.​

  3. Update Your Profile:

    • Once logged in, navigate to the "Profile" section.​

    • Ensure your personal details are accurate and up-to-date.​

    • Upload a recent passport-size photo if required.

  4. Initiate License Renewal:

    • Click on the "Renewals" tab.​

    • Select "New Renewal Application.

    • Fill in the necessary details and submit the application.​

  5. Make Payment:

    • After submitting your renewal application, an invoice will be generated indicating the amount due.​

    • Download the invoice for your records.​

    • Proceed to payment by clicking on the "Make Payment" button.

    • Choose your preferred payment method:​

      • VISA: Enter your card details to complete the transaction.

      • Direct Debit Authorization Clearance (DDAC): If you're set up for DDAC, select this option; your details will be verified with the Council for those employed by GRZ

  6. Download Your Renewed License:

    • Upon successful payment, you can download your renewed practicing certificate and receipt directly from the portal.​
